Cycling holidays on the Cornwall / Devon border
Cycling in Cornwall or Devon is always going to bring you into contact with a hill or two of varying gradients, but as long as you are semi-fit and have a reasonable bike with decent gears these shouldn't present a problem. There are a variety of routes of different lengths starting from our front door, and a short drive away, rides that take in gently rolling hills, that involve long flat stretches, and rides that contain the occassional stiff climb. Because of the nature of the local landscape, however, a route will always be interesting, and contain plenty of inspiring locations to stop and catch your breath.
Click here to view a few of our favourite cycle routes. All are circular, and feature only the minor, quiet back roads; where it's not posible to avoid a main road, distance is kept to a minimum. You will also notice that most feature a pub, or two, at some point along the way !
For those interested in cycle tours around Cornwall and Devon, we offer a luggage transfer service, making the hills a little easier to manage.
