Award-winning breakfast
Staying at our bed and breakfast in Cornwall you will enjoy a selection of the best the region can offer, to set you up for a day exploring. We are one of a small percentage of B&Bs within our category to have been awarded Visit Britain's new Breakfast Award, in recognition of "quality and choice of breakfast, service and hospitality that exceeds what would be expected".
Breakfast takes advantage of the fact that Launceston has an excellent butcher, Philip Warren & Son, who produce their own delicious sausages, and cure their own bacon.
Pure apple juice is produced from fruit grown within a three mile radius of the house, eggs come from our own chickens, we bake fresh bread daily, make our own yoghurt and granola, and have a range of home-made preserves.
During the summer months we provide a generous fresh fruit salad which highlights produce from a number of growers in the Tamar Valley. When fresh fruit is no longer in season we make our own spiced fruit compote.
As well as the traditional full English breakfast we offer alternatives such as kippers, or smoked salmon ( both of which come from the excellent Tregida Smokehouse ) and scrambled eggs.
With a little notice can normally supply goats milk, butter and yoghurt if you are on a non-cows milk diet.
