Our Bed and Breakfast is located six miles south of Launceston, 3/4 mile off the A388, so within easy reach of the town and the A30.

Launceston is known as the 'Gateway to Cornwall', was the ancient capital of what used to be a country in its own right, and in Saxon times was the site of the Royal Mint. It is a small, traditional market town with a number of interesting shops and buildings, including a row of beautiful Georgian houses, one of which is now the town museum.

The town was once fully enclosed by a protective wall, parts of which are still in existence, most notably the Southgate arch. St Mary's church is well known for its unusual, intricately carved granite exterior. The Norman castle, with its 13th century keep, has great views over the surrounding area.
