Things to do

Rezare Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is located 6 miles south of Launceston and 5 miles north of Callington, on the border between Cornwall and Devon, in a small hamlet halfway between Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, and midway between both coasts. This makes us ideally placed for exploring a wide area, which offers a rich variety of things to see and do. These include :

  • Inspiring walking country, from quiet river walks along wide estuaries and through steep wooded valleys, up to the vast, open, craggy expanses of Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, and out onto the spectacular coastlines of the north and south coasts.
  • Many places of historical interest, including a number of National Trust and English Heritage properties, and mining heritage sites
  • Beautiful gardens, from the grand and formal, to small and intimate
  • Varied and interesting cycle routes, through small, quiet country lanes that connect many delightful villages, hamlets and historical sites, offering everything from flat(ish) easy riding, to demanding steep inclines.
  • Horse riding to suit all skill levels
  • Canoeing, sailing, salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Tamar
